Pet Partners is a national nonprofit leader that supports thousands of therapy animal teams who are specially trained to lovingly share the healing benefits of pets with people in need. We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Manager who will be responsible for assisting in administering all aspects of the accounting function, including revenue, AR, AP, payroll, general ledger, inventory management, and month end close for the organization and related entity. Responsibilities include processing daily accounting transactions, creating journal entries, maintaining schedules and supporting calculations, performing month-end reconciliations, and investigating variances in accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. In addition, this position will assist in coordinating year-end activities including the annual audit and 990 preparation. Additional responsibilities include assisting in preparation of supporting audit schedules, expense allocations, footnote and disclosure research and support, variance analysis, relevant research, and analysis.

The Accounting Manager is a full-time, exempt position working in-office at our Bellevue, WA headquarters 2-3 days/week during training and a 90-day probationary period, with the other days at employee’s discretion of in-office or at home. Following successful completion of training, in-office time may be reduced to on average, one day/week.
