Koi and I really enjoyed meeting with the students and staff at Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle.

This event was scheduled as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. It was held outside, and fortunately raining skies turned to sunshine in time for us to greet students on their lunch breaks.

The kids were so happy to have some love from the dogs attending the event. They came by in groups of two to seven to pet Koi and give her some attention. Many of them circled back multiple times to get another dose of love.

The courtyard was packed with students from the start and stayed that way until the bell rang to indicate break was over. It was evident that they received benefits from all the teams participating in this event. We did, too!

This experience is one of our first as a Pet Partners team. Koi behaved well and I was thrilled to be part of a team providing a de-stressing moment for the staff and students.
