Retirement: Henry the Therapy Dog

Henry retired after 9 years of service as a registered therapy dog, certified crisis response canine, and a certified peer support canine with the Orange County Sheriff, Ca.

Henry responded to 885 calls for service.  He responded to calls in California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.  He has earned the AKC titles of Therapy Dog Supreme, CGCA. CGCU, CGC, Farm Dog Certified, TKN and TKI.

We worked everything from girl scout presentations to mass shootings.

We have traveled on boats, trains, buses and airplanes to our assignments.

Henry was truly a gift that we were blessed to share with those in need.  Our true calling was working with kids in the Pediatric Oncology Unit.  He loved getting on beds even though he was pushing 100 lbs.  Now retired, Henry leaves behind a legacy of compassion and support.
