Thousands of therapy dog and other therapy animal teams throughout the U.S. and in several other countries proudly make millions of visits in a typical year. In 2025, the Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program aimed to increase our volunteer pool to support the rising demand for therapy animal visits. As our program has become more accessible, we’ve maintained our commitment to rigorous standards through our required comprehensive volunteer education and team re-evaluation every two years.
In accordance with financial best practices, Pet Partners undergoes an annual financial review by an independent agency.
As a federally tax-exempt organization, Pet Partners annually files Form 990 with the IRS. This information is available to the public.
