It's a Wrap: World’s Largest Pet Walk 2023

The 6th annual World’s Largest Pet Walk took place on Saturday, September 23rd, and it was an amazing event! With people walking all across the world alongside their pets and neighbors, Pet Partners was able to raise vital funds to register more therapy animal teams. Thank you to everyone who registered, walked, fundraised, and donated; we couldn’t have done it without you!
The Stats on Those Taking Steps
This year’s walk was the largest one yet! People from around the world gathered together to enjoy getting active with their pets while raising funds for Pet Partners’ Therapy Animal Program! This year featured a lot of new corporate teams and participants whom we were so excited to see register!

Leading the Way: Our Walk Champion
We are pleased to present our 2023 National Walk Champion: Dr. Elizabeth Lynch! Elizabeth has been a Pet Partners handler since 2001, a member of the Pet Partners of Fairfield County Community Partner group, an active team evaluator, national program educator, and currently volunteers with her adorable guinea pigs, Cookie and Moo. She also led the way to success for the Walk by raising over $5,000 and becoming our top fundraiser! We are thrilled with the success of this year’s walk, but we’re not done yet: fundraising continues through the end of 2023. We are still aiming to reach our fundraising goal of $120,000! Donate today to support the walk and our Therapy Animal Program.

We had a blast celebrating so many walkers and teams at this year’s 2023 Sneaker Awards! This Facebook Live event celebrates our registered walkers and teams in 29 categories!
